Scottish folk dances

Skotské lidové tance Scottish Country Dances - The Bees of Maggieknockter (jig), From the Broomielaw (strathspey) and Flirtation Hornpipe (reel) are three traditional Scottish folk dances the choreography of which was adapted by the great Scottish dance lecturer and choreographer Mr. Ron Wallace. The act is unique by combining all three basic rhythmical patterns – jig, reel and strathspay, and also using all four dance couples. Scottish country dances are typical in that each time it is only three couples from the total of four that dance and one couple is resting.
